Garment Technologist & Production Manual Pattern Cutter - The Role
This is an exciting role for a dynamic individual who would like to progress their career. You will be responsible for overseeing your own accounts and dealing directly with the customers.Duties will include:-
* Attending fit sessions with the clients and taking notes.
* Amending paper patterns & managing the fit process through to production. Which will comprise of specifications sheets and photos.
* Must have a comprehensive understanding of pattern construction and balance.
* Amending paper patterns according to fit comments. Ensuring fit and sizing is to customers requirements
* Liaising with Customers, factories & Quality controllers & creating detailed tech packs
* Maintain grading and sizing rules for each garment type.
Garment Technologist & Production Manual Pattern Cutter - The Candidate
* The successful candidate needs to have at least 1 years pattern experience this is essential and previous experience as a garment technician with a supplier .
* Candidate needs to be confident, organised, and able to prioritise workload
* With strong attention to detail, with an eye for detail and quality.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Work well as part of a team, and to the agreed critical paths
* Grading is done externally; however, grading knowledge is required
* Excellent fabric knowledge across woven and jersey from delicate to structured fabrics including sewing techniques. xsngvjr
