What you'll do
* Provide general club orientation to guests upon arrival, such as the location and use of locker rooms, gym and pool
* Welcome and acknowledge each guest and member with a smile, eye contact and a friendly welcome, using their name when possible
* Carry out regular Health & Safety checks, pool testing, sauna and steam room checks
* Process new members sign ups
* Maintain cleanliness of workstation, gym, locker rooms, poolside, sauna and steam room
* Dispose of rubbish and dirty linens in the correct area
* Clean and stock supplies and amenities in the locker rooms
* Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager, support with first aid if required
* Monitor the pool area and ensure users are safe and adhering to rules
* Anticipate and address guests' service needs
What we're looking for
* A warm, people-oriented demeanor
* A team-first attitude
* A gift for paying attention to the smallest details
* A pool plant, pool lifeguard and or first aid qualification are desirable, although we support your training to obtain these qualifications
* An interest in the fitness industry
