About the opportunity
We are currently recruiting for Merchandise Planners in various categories to join our Trading team based at our Customer Support Centre in Walsall. As the Merchandise Planner, you will report to the Merchandise Planning Manager and be responsible for planning, controlling, and monitoring merchandise across our divisions.
As a Merchandise Planner, you will work within the General Merchandise team and closely with the wider merchandising and buying team to ensure stock targets are achieved and availability is managed effectively. This role offers flexible working between our Customer Support Centre in Walsall and remote working. We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive a high volume of applications. What you'll be doing...
As a Merchandise Planner, your duties will consist of:
1. Critical path management of your category and any promotional offers
2. Ensuring effective management of inbound and outbound stock replenishment
3. Monitoring the Weekly Sales and Stock Intake plan (WSSI) tools to ensure accurate data reflection and forecasting WSSI following the release of actual performance data
4. Preparing and delivering weekly category reports and insights
What you'll need...
GM or Clothing background preferred
A minimum of three years of Merchandising experience
Intermediate Excel Skills – advanced skills desirable
Previous knowledge of WSSI
Knowledge of Oracle advantageous
Financial, Fashion, or Merchandising degree desirable
Proven analytical skills with excellent written and verbal communication
