Senior Lecturer – Interior Design
Interior Design BA (Hons), Product Design BA (Hons) and Product Design Technology BSc (Hons) have launched an exciting new curriculum at UWE Bristol with collaboration and cross disciplinary learning at its core.
We are looking for a Senior Lecturer with a specialism in Interior Design to lead modules and teaching for the Interior programme. You'll have experience in teaching or industry practice in Interior Design.
Qualifications
* Postgraduate level qualification (or near to completion) in a relevant subject.
* Higher education teaching qualification and HEA Fellowship, or a commitment to achieve these within two years of appointment.
* Track record of inspirational teaching in higher education, or equivalent industry experience.
* Demonstrated subject knowledge and experience in Interior Design.
* Broad experience in teaching, research and professional practice with strong contacts with local and national agencies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills enabling effective relationships with students, staff and external partners (industry and educational; regional/national/international).
Responsibilities
* Lead modules and teaching for the Interior programme.
* Deliver teaching of a wide variety of interior design disciplines.
* Contribute to course teaching activity at undergraduate level.
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff and external partners.
