The ISSOS Photography Teacher will teach our students the fundamentals of digital photography in a fun, informational and inspirational manner.
WHAT DOES THIS INVOLVE?
You will encourage your students to develop their own style and will help them discover an understanding of the camera to develop the skills needed to capture and produce high-quality photographs.
Although we provide every teacher a guide as to what each lesson should achieve, we ask our teachers to bring their own experience to each class and create their own stimulating and challenging lesson plans.
All of our summer teaching positions are residential and we provide accommodation & all meals as well as fixed payment of £2000 per session. Total hours (including lesson planning, teaching, evening duties etc) are likely to be in the region of 167 hours, but may be less, meaning the lowest rough hourly rate this equates to £23/hour
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
>Teaching a class of international students
>Creating and executing interesting & engaging lesson plans
>Taking part in evening activities (rota basis)
>Making sure students are safe and happy at all times
>Being a positive role model
WHAT SKILLS/EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?
>Previous teaching experience is essential
>Experience in teaching international students preferred
>Knowledge and experience of a variety of photographic techniques and styles
>You must be fluent in English

TRAVEL:
Up to £150 reimbursed for travel to/from Cambridge
Up to $350 reimbursed for travel to/from Yale
Travelling from outside of the US:
Up to $500 reimbursed for travel
