Occupational Therapist - Specialist Education setting Term time £32,00 - £45,500 depending on your experience Join our client, a leading provider of specialist education services, who are seeking to employ their primary Occupational Therapist to join the team at a new education setting near to Swindon. This is a permanent, term-time role with a salary range of £32,000 to £45,500, depending on your experience. - Become an integral part of our multi-disciplinary therapy team, working closely with Speech and Language Therapists and other professionals to support our students.- Help empower autistic children and young people to reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment. Preferred Requirements: Extensive experience as an Occupational Therapist, ideally in a special needs environment. Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, providing tailored support to each student. Strong communication skills to engage with students, parents, and other professionals. Passion for helping young people with autism develop the skills they need to live independently and participate in their local community. Flexibility to work either full-time or part-time hours during term-time as the school grows Leads MDT education for Sensory profiles across the school and educates colleagues on best practice Preferred Qualifications: Qualified Occupational Therapist with a relevant degree or diploma. Full BAOT membership and HCPC registration Experience working with children and young people with autism or other special educational needs. Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to contribute to a centre of autism expertise and excellence.
