Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer to take full responsibility for designing, building, and maintaining our websites. This role requires expertise in creating visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms such as WordPress or Shopify. You will own the entire web design process, from initial concept to ongoing improvements.
Key Responsibilities
* Fully manage website design and maintenance, ensuring continuous improvements and updates.
* Design and develop responsive, user-friendly web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
* Build and customize themes/templates on CMS platforms (WordPress or Shopify).
* Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using Figma or Adobe XD.
* Ensure mobile responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and fast loading speeds.
* Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine visibility.
* Regularly update and optimize site content, layouts, and design for better user experience.
* Maintain website security, performance, and functionality through regular checks.
* (Bonus) Experience working on e-commerce websites, including product pages and promotional designs.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience in web design and CMS management (WordPress or Shopify preferred).
* Minimum 3+ years of experience as web designer
* Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
* Proficiency with design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
* Understanding of responsive design, UX/UI principles, and SEO basics.
* Ability to independently manage website projects from start to finish.
* High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
* Experience in the clothing/fashion industry is a strong advantage.
