About our Nursery Busy Bees Southwell is an Ofsted-rated Good nursery with a capacity of 48, located just a short drive from Southwell town centre. The nursery features three separate childcare rooms tailored to different age groups—babies, toddlers, and pre-school children—each offering a safe and nurturing environment. With bright, airy decor, the nursery provides a welcoming space for children to begin their educational journey. Learning is not confined to indoors, as the nursery boasts a secure outdoor area with fun equipment like slides, seesaws, and ride-on cars, allowing children to explore and play in a stimulating environment. Conveniently located on Allenby Road, the nursery is easily accessible by both car and public transport, with the Vicarage Road bus stop less than a minute's walk away, served by routes 26, 28, 29, and N26. Free parking is also available for added convenience.

Your responsibilities and expectations
As an apprentice, you will:
* Help plan and deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities following the EYFS framework
* Support the team to provide high-quality childcare and positive learning experiences for all children
* Build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
* Ensure children’s individual needs are understood and met
* Contribute to the safeguarding of all children
* Work proactively toward completing your apprenticeship provided by Busy Bees Education and Training within the expected timeframe
* Show enthusiasm, curiosity, and commitment to your own development
Essential Criteria
To apply, you must:
* Be passionate about childcare and motivated to start a career in Early Years
* To meet funding eligibility, you must have been a resident in the UK for at least the 3 consecutive years
* Be able to provide evidence of Maths and English achievements (GCSE Maths and English grade 3/D or above or Level 2 Functional Skills)
Desirable Criteria (not essential)
* A Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification
