About the role As a Customer Service Team Leader, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management and motivation of up to 12 Customer Service Advisors. The team must deliver a high-quality service, consistently and fairly, to all of Drax's business customers. In this busy role, your people management skills will be at a premium as you manage schedules, set performance targets (ensuring achievement) and identify training needs. You'll also need to keep your team fully informed about changes in this fast-moving business, which may affect your expectations of what's needed. Using your communications skills and commercial knowledge, you'll help the team to negotiate with customers and settle differences while also building business relationships with internal and external stakeholders and colleagues. These abilities will also help you to liaise effectively with the management team and share working methods with other leaders in a bid to enhance the overall performance of the business. About you As part of your role, you'll be required to produce timely and accurate management information for the Customer Service Managers on all aspects of your team's performance. You'll also need to develop your understanding of the electricity industry and its associated third-party arrangements and regulatory environment.
