Benefit is Glowing... We Mean Growing... and we are currently searching for a Full-time Counter Manager to make real connections in Boots Edinburgh!
As a Counter Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Management - Managing Brow and Beauty Experts by motivating staff and delegating roles, ensuring sales targets are met and high customer service standards are maintained.
* Sales Goals - Achieving counter and service sales targets, making connections with customers, demonstrating products.
* Brow Services - Waxing, Tinting, and Tweezing to ensure customers love their brows and book repeat appointments.
* Teamwork - Conducting daily team meetings, effective communication, and recognizing positive work to motivate the in-store team and achieve targets.
* Promotion and Special Events - Creating in-store and external events like product launches, charity events, and interdepartmental collaborations to build business.
* Stock - Keeping the counter stocked at all times and reporting concerns to the area manager.
* Communication - Facilitating communication between store/department managers and area managers, maintaining open communication on the counter.
* Administration - Completing daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly administrative tasks, and assisting with area manager administration where needed.
* Staff Rotas - Preparing fair staff rotas on a monthly basis.
* Hygiene and Housekeeping - Ensuring the counter and displays are clean and hygienic at all times.
Qualifications and Attributes:
* Dynamic, enthusiastic
* Passion for make-up and retail
* Result-oriented with a desire to meet challenges
* Dedicated to providing a unique customer experience
* Flexible availability including weekends, late nights, bank holidays, and holiday periods
* Minimum 6 months retail experience
