Record and report results in a timely and appropriate manner Conduct quality surveys or projects as required Actively promote a high level of adherence to quality specifications Carry out departmental housekeeping, hygiene and environmental audits Maintain compliance to health, safety and environmental rules and guidelines Assist with training of operators in some techniques and analyses Ensure all instruments used are calibrated and fit for purpose Carry out routine calibration checks on laboratory instruments Participate in in-house instrument/technician validation procedures. Participate in external proficiency schemes Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards Maintain supply of clean laboratory equipment and microbiological media Prepare, set up and assist with tasting sessions and sensory training What You’ll Bring… Attention to detail.
