Senior Support Worker: Diverse Talent Partners Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team in Maidstone, Kent, UK. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality support and care to our clients, who may have a range of complex needs. Key Responsibilities: - Provide direct care and support to clients, including personal care, medication administration, and daily living tasks - Lead and supervise a team of support workers, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of person-centred care - Conduct regular assessments and develop care plans for clients, ensuring their individual needs and preferences are met - Liaise with external agencies and healthcare professionals to coordinate care and support for clients - Monitor and review the effectiveness of care plans, making necessary adjustments to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in line with company policies and procedures - Promote and maintain a safe and positive working environment for both staff and clients - Participate in staff meetings, training, and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge - Support the management team in the day-to-day operations of the service, including rota management, budget management, and compliance with regulatory standards - Act as a role model for the support team, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and a person-centred approach at all times. Qualifications and Experience: - NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent - Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a residential or supported living setting - Experience working with individuals with complex needs, including learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and challenging behaviours - Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues - Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including OFSTED standards - Flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
