What the role involves: As a Teaching Assistant supporting SEND students, you will work closely with teaching staff to deliver targeted support tailored to individual learning needs. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting students in accessing the curriculum, supporting behavioural management strategies, and fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. You will also play a key role in encouraging independence and boosting the confidence of our students. Key requirements: Proven experience supporting secondary-aged students with SEND, either in a professional or personal capacity. Strong understanding of the challenges faced by SEND learners and strategies to support them effectively. Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents alike.
