Your new companyAn established building services consultancy is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join their team. The business specialises in mechanical, electrical, and public health design, delivering predominantly high-rise residential and commercial projects, with a strong focus on RIBA Stage 4 & 5 delivery.Your new roleThis is a fully remote position offering a high level of autonomy, with occasional travel to London as required for site visits and coordination. You will take the lead on electrical design across projects, managing both the technical delivery and internal teams, while working closely with the wider design team to ensure successful project outcomes.Key responsibilities:Lead electrical design on Stage 4 & 5 projectsManage and mentor engineers and Revit techniciansCoordinate with multidisciplinary design teamsOversee project delivery, timelines, and qualityReview technical designs and modelsWhat you'll need to succeed8+ years' experience in building services design (electrical)Strong background in Stage 4 & 5 project deliveryExperience on high-rise residential projects (desirable)Proven experience working on UK projects, with a strong understanding of UK Building RegulationsProven team leadership and project management abilityDegree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronic EngineeringExperience with CAD / Navisworks (or similar)Strong communication and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated, with the ability to work remotelyWhat you'll get in returnThis is a great opportunity to step into a genuinely flexible, fully remote role where you'll have real ownership over your projects and the ability to influence delivery from a senior position.
