Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Service Desk Administrator for our client based in South Lanarkshire.
Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and customer-focused individual to join a fast-paced service team. As the first point of contact for clients, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating service requests, supporting engineers, and ensuring administrative processes are carried out efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and respond to service desk emails and calls in a prompt and professional manner
* Coordinate daily schedules for engineers and liaise with clients to confirm appointments
* Raise and manage maintenance, quoted, and reactive jobs within internal systems
* Review engineering reports and issue them to clients in a timely manner
* Follow up on remedial works, quotations, and outstanding actions
* Communicate job progress updates to clients and internal teams
* Order parts and manage purchase order processes
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date system records, logs, and client information
* Ensure compliance with internal KPIs and service standards
* Assist with invoicing and support the preparation of quotations
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, ideally in a technical or service-based environment
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Competent in Microsoft Office and internal CRM/job management systems
* A proactive and detail-oriented approach
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
