KS1 Primary Teacher with SEN Experience – Hartlepool

Position: Full-time KS1 Teacher (with SEN focus)
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
About the Role:
* Full classroom responsibility within Key Stage 1
* Supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs, including EHCPs and additional learning plans
* Working closely with the SENDCo, teaching assistants, and external agencies
* Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners
* Creating a nurturing, structured classroom environment to support social and academic progress
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Recent experience teaching in KS1
* A good understanding of a range of SEN strategies and interventions
* A caring, patient, and resilient approach
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
This role would suit either an experienced SEN teacher or a KS1 teacher with a passion and drive to work more closely with children with additional needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
