As an SEN Primary TA, this is a fantastic opportunity to provide tailored support to pupils with SEND, assisting their learning, social development, and engagement in a nurturing and inclusive environment. As an SEN Primary Teaching Assistant, you will: Support the class teacher in delivering lessons adapted for SEN pupils. Provide 1:1 or small group support for children with additional needs. Assist pupils with literacy, numeracy, and social skills development. Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment. Encourage children’s confidence, independence, and love for learning. Requirements for SEN Primary Teaching Assistant : Previous experience supporting children with SEN in primary settings. A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
