About the role
We’ve a great new opportunity to be our Planning Co-ordinator, working within our high performing Planning & Scheduling team. We’re looking for you to develop strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders across our directorates and with local authority representatives, build mutual trust and respect, and use this network to enable resolution to several tasks linked to investigating fixed penalty notices, reinstatement defects and section 74 overruns. You’ll also be tasked with supporting our ambition to be the leading job promoter within the communities that we serve.
You will support our planning leadership team by recommending change, so we reduce street works costs. You will also support internal stakeholders with financial administration for purchase orders and the raising of invoices, work with fire services within our communities to ensure we support them with reactive maintenance on key assets, and work as part of a team to manage shared inboxes and inbound contact to the team.
We’re looking for you to ensure effective planning and monitoring of work-streams to ensure all targets are achieved; this includes regulatory targets.
About you
We’re looking for you to be passionate about continuous improvement and to be self-motivated and creative in your approach to support us in our goals.
We’re looking for you to have proven planning experience, and be able to confidently review processes, highlighting errors to our leadership team to support continuous improvement for all colleagues.
You’ll confidently process charges and ensure all outstanding invoices are paid promptly.
You’ll have proven experience in building positive relationships with local authorities and have a track record of negotiating positive outcomes within a results driven environment.
Knowledge of street works legislation and experience collaborating with governing bodies or local authorities is essential.
We’re looking for you to have proven experience in customer facing competencies with the ability to present and communicate at senior levels and across a range of stakeholders, along with an understanding of the regulatory landscape in which we operate.
