Finance Transformation Analyst
Your new company
A leading organisation with a presence across Europe is seeking a highly analytical and detail-driven Accountant to join their Transformation Office. This is a London-based hybrid role (2-3 days in the office) supporting large transformation and strategic investment programmes.
Your new role
Reporting to the head of finance transformation, your duties will include:
1. Maintain and update financial data for transformation and investment projects.
2. Perform variance analysis to explain cost and benefit deviations.
3. Provide financial modelling for business cases (ROI, NPV, payback).
4. Forecast resource requirements and identify capacity risks.
5. Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning cycles.
6. Ensure consistent reporting through cross-functional collaboration.
7. Align cost classifications with Group accounting standards (Opex vs Capex).
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with:
8. Strong experience in financial analysis, project accounting, or transformation support
9. Advanced Excel and modelling skills with exceptional attention to detail
10. Analytical mindset with the ability to reconcile data and test assumptions
11. Familiarity with IFRS capitalisation rules and capex governance processes
12. Experience in cost capitalisation, impairment, and business case validation
13. Confidence in stakeholder engagement and the ability to challenge constructively
14. Strong communication skills and sound judgement
