Who are TPS?
TPS provides independent garages and bodyshops with high-quality Genuine Parts and products needed to service and repair Volkswagen Group vehicles. TPS is part of the Volkswagen Group, alongside brands like Audi, SEAT, KODA, Volkswagen passenger cars, and Commercial Vehicles. It is a national network of TPS Centres with a workforce of approximately 1,500 employees, committed to creating an inclusive and motivating workplace that recognises and rewards its staff, encouraging continuous learning and development.
Launched nationally in 2006 as a new brand concept, TPS operates on an Agency Model, meaning Centres stock and sell on behalf of Volkswagen Group UK. The brand has experienced rapid growth both financially and in the number of Centres nationwide.
About The Role
What will you be doing?
As Centre Manager, you will lead, manage, and motivate your TPS team to meet and exceed the business plans and objectives of the Centre. Your role will focus on delivering excellent customer service, developing strategic plans, and ensuring all operational processes are in place for a successful TPS Centre.
* Achieve Centre targets and business objectives
* Translate sales targets into departmental goals and collaborate with first-line management to set challenging yet achievable objectives
* Motivate, recognise, and incentivise the team
* Develop Personal Development Plans, monitor progress, and provide support as needed
* Create a Manpower Plan and implement a succession plan
* Foster a customer-centric culture within the business
* Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
* Work within the sales strategy to increase revenue, devising and implementing sales plans
* Regularly monitor business performance and identify opportunities for improvement
* Analyze market data to understand potential sales opportunities
* Achieve business plans and budgets, controlling costs within set parameters, including Gross Margin levels
* Ensure compliance with standards, processes, and legal guidelines, including warranty policies
* Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and ensure the security of stock and premises
Requirements

* Proven ability or aptitude to lead and motivate a team to achieve targets in a B2B environment
* A passion for delivering excellent customer service and interest in the automotive industry
* Effective communication skills and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
* Experience in devising strategies and implementing plans
* Ability to provide exceptional customer service
* Strategic planning skills to grow and develop the business
* Results-oriented with a strong sales focus
* High IT literacy and proficiency in MS Office
* Management experience
