ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
* Based in Manchester
* Responsible for the overall success and growth of a portfolio of high value client accounts in the digital advertising industry.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
We're partnered with a fast growing Manchester based B2B consultancy focused on outbound sales and lead generation. They target senior decision makers across UK and international markets, with performance measured by booked meetings and client retention.
As a client, they’re fast paced, metrics driven, and highly engaged. They value strategic input, clear communication, and proactive account management. Working with them means owning results, adapting quickly, and maintaining a high standard of delivery in a collaborative environment.
THE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE ROLE:
My client is looking for an experienced and driven Account Executive to join their growing team in Manchester. This is a fully onsite role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced, client-focused environment. You’ll take full ownership of high value client accounts, each typically generating £15k+ in monthly recurring revenue.
* Manage a portfolio of 5–10 client accounts
* Be fully accountable for client performance
* Lead client onboarding, campaign setup, and expectations alignment
* Own renewal processes, upsell conversations, and retention strategies
* Lead weekly or bi-weekly client calls with confidence and clarity
* Provide transparent reporting on campaign progress, successes, blockers, and focus areas
* Proactively manage client expectations and handle tough conversations professionally
* Push back when needed to align client expectations with campaign realities
* Send daily End-of-Day dialling notes to clients
* Write and refine outreach scripts and messaging frameworks
* Drive success through strategy, data targeting, and campaign insights
* Mentor and collaborate with Sales Representatives to ensure delivery against targets
* Regularly review performance metrics and adjust outbound strategies as needed
* Ensure consistent client satisfaction and retention through high quality service
* Communicate proactively with Directors regarding client performance and issues
ACCOUNT ESSENTIAL SKILLS
* Proven experience in Account Management or similar client facing roles
* Strong understanding of B2B outbound campaigns and sales processes
* Ability to handle multiple accounts with a focus on performance and client satisfaction
* Confident in leading client communications
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Highly organised, results driven, and proactive
* Comfortable working in a fast paced agency environment
