The successful Assembly Technician will have a background in mechanical assembly, ideally from a fluid power background, including valves, fittings, regulators, hoses, filters, instrumentation, measurement devices, and pipe bending expertise.
Role
Carry out the mechanical assembly of mechanical equipment and machinery, including pipe bending tasks.
Work to technical engineering drawings, build plans, and procedures.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Build and assemble panels, pressure test panels, ensuring all valves are open.
Understand and work with valves, regulators, and pipe bending.
Use mechanical handling equipment.
Requirements
Experience as an Assembly Technician / Fabricator / Assembly Engineer / Assembly Operative / Mechanical Technician / Fitter or similar, with pipe bending experience.
Previous experience working with fluid power systems including Valves, Fittings, Regulators, Hoses, Filters, Instrumentation, Measurement Devices, and pipe bending.
Experience with mechanical assembly or hands-on engineering equipment.
Apprentice trained or an engineering qualification would be beneficial but training and qualifications will be provided if needed.
Commutable to Bristol.
Full Driving License.
