Risk & Compliance Solicitor (5+ PQE) – Edinburgh or Glasgow
A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Risk & Compliance Solicitor to join its growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys translating regulation into practical guidance and shaping firmwide compliance standards.
What you’ll do:
* Advise on professional practice, conduct, conflicts, confidentiality & regulatory obligations.
* Develop clear guidance, templates & tools to support compliance across the firm.
* Support supervision standards, file reviews & quality assurance.
* Lead aspects of regulatory reporting & inspection readiness.
* Deliver training and help refine compliance processes.
* Contribute to the firm’s client‑facing risk & compliance services, including audits, diagnostics & advisory work.
About you:
* Qualified solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE.
* Strong background in legal regulation, ethics, risk or compliance.
* Excellent ability to turn complex rules into practical advice.
* Confident engaging with partners, operational teams and clients.
* Commercially aware with experience supporting BD activity.
