💰 Up to £47,000 (DOE)
⏰ Monday–Friday | 44 hours

I’m working with a well-established manufacturing business who need someone to step in and lead from the front — not just follow process.
💥 THE ROLE
You’ll be the go-to person for all things product/application engineering.
👉 Working closely with Sales to turn ideas into real, buildable solutions
👉 Creating specs, plans, and quotes that actually stack up commercially
👉 Owning documentation, compliance, and engineering standards
👉 Acting as the link between Sales, Engineering, Production & Suppliers
👉 Spotting risks early and keeping everything running smoothly
This is a role for someone who likes control, structure, and doing things properly.
👀 WHAT YOU’LL NEED
✔ Experience in Product / Application Engineering (ideally within manufacturing or vehicle bodybuilding)
✔ Strong CAD skills
✔ Ability to create accurate specs, plans & quotes
✔ Solid understanding of engineering standards & compliance
✔ Organised, detail-focused, and able to juggle multiple projects
✔ Confident communicator — you’ll be dealing with everyone from shop floor to customer

🔧 DAY TO DAY (WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY BE DOING)
* Producing engineering-ready specs and part lists
* Managing supplier quotes and costing
* Preparing customer quotations and documentation
* Tracking quotes and conversions
* Liaising with customers on specs and requirements
* Keeping communication tight between Sales & Engineering
* Signing off build specs and documentation
* Managing product specs and high-value parts
