Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Emergency Housing Officer to support the effective management of temporary accommodation placements. This is a key front-line role focused on helping the council meet its statutory housing duties, while ensuring quality, compliance, and tenancy sustainment for households in temporary accommodation. This role would suit a Temporary Accommodation or Tenancy Officer with a strong understanding of housing legislation and temporary accommodation regulations. The successful candidate must have experience using Locata or NEC systems and be confident managing a busy caseload. The position is hybrid, with a requirement to be in the office at least three days a week.
