The successful candidate will join the DCS Music team which supports MOD schools and settings in their delivery of music education from Early Years to Sixth Form. The candidate will predominantly work with our Early Years settings and Primary Schools to support non-specialist staff with the delivery of the Music curriculum. This will involve a programme of developing resources, training and supporting staff and teaching. In addition to classroom-based activity, the successful candidate will deliver small group instrumental lessons to pupils in the five schools in Cyprus (three primary and two secondary). The post holder will work with the team to develop and run outreach, ensemble and performance opportunities for children across the Cyprus schools. There will also be online or in person outreach to the rest of the MOD schools globally.
