Job Description
1. Develop and refine manufacturing processes that support fabrication and assembly operations across the facility.
2. Analyze current workflows to uncover opportunities that improve quality, productivity, safety, and overall cost efficiency.
3. Create detailed standard operating procedures and supporting documentation to guide consistent production practices.
4. Conduct time and motion studies to establish accurate baseline production standards when needed.
5. Partner closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to review designs and ensure products are optimized for manufacturability.
6. Troubleshoot production issues on the shop floor, providing timely, hands-on technical support.
7. Lead or support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives across various operational areas.
8. Design and develop fixtures or tools that streamline and enhance manufacturing efficiency.

The Successful Applicant
9. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering).
10. 3-7 years of hands-on experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
11. Strong knowledge of fabrication processes such as welding, plasma/waterjet cutting, press brakes, machining, and other shop equipment.
12. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor, with familiarity in Inventor Vault and general MRP systems.
13. Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and create technical blueprints and manufacturing documentation.
14. Proven problem‑solving ability with strong mechanical aptitude and the capacity to troubleshoot production issues effectively.
15. Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities, with a track record of coaching others and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
