As a Content Marketing Manager, you will be a strategic leader in content, leveraging AI to develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that supports demand generation, nurtures buyers through their journey, establishes thought leadership, and optimizes for AEO, SEO, and GEO. Your work will drive measurable revenue growth and brand authority.
About you
* Proven experience in content marketing, within B2B software.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful content strategies that support demand generation campaigns and guide buyers through their journey.
* Success in establishing and amplifying thought leadership through content.
* Strong track record of leveraging data to inform and optimize content performance.
* Experience with content distribution channels and performance measurement.
* Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time to address multiple responsibilities.
* Understanding of marketing strategies, including digital marketing, demand generation, content creation, and lead nurturing.
* Expertise in SEO principles and practices, including advanced keyword research, on‑page optimization, technical SEO, and familiarity with Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
* Proficiency and practical experience with generative AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) for content ideation, creation, and optimization.
* Strong analytical skills with a data‑driven mindset, capable of interpreting complex content and campaign performance data.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Content Strategy
* Map content to each stage of the buyer's journey, identifying gaps and opportunities to attract, engage, convert, and retain customers across marketing campaigns and touchpoints.
* Identify key topic clusters and content opportunities to establish topical authority and expertise in the employee experience space.
* Translate product offerings into compelling, clear, and engaging content narratives across formats such as blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, videos, infographics, social media, email sequences, and website copy to fuel demand generation.
Content Creation & Optimization (AEO, SEO, GEO)
* Drive the strategy for multi‑format content development across written, visual, audio, and interactive mediums, ensuring each asset aligns with brand voice and audience needs.
* Repackage and repurpose existing content into new formats to extend reach and engagement.
* Leverage generative AI tools for content ideation, drafting, research, and repurposing, while ensuring human oversight, expertise, creativity, and brand integrity.
* Optimize content for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), including structured data implementation, schema markup, and conversational formatting.
* Conduct in‑depth keyword research and topic clustering to inform content creation, staying aware of how evolving search algorithms affect visibility.
* Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI, LLMs, and search algorithms to continuously refine strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Thought Leadership & Brand Awareness
* Develop content initiatives that position the company and stakeholders as industry experts, including long‑form articles, whitepapers, research reports, webinars, and speaking engagement support.
* Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to extract valuable insights and translate them into compelling, authoritative content.
Content Performance
* Analyze content performance and provide recommendations to iterate on strategies, improve results, and demonstrate ROI, particularly for demand generation efforts.
Content Management
* Establish and maintain editorial guidelines, content calendars, and workflow processes to ensure efficient and timely delivery across campaigns.
* Conduct regular content audits to identify outdated information, broken links, and opportunities for refresh and repurposing.
