We are excited to present this new and extremely rare opportunity to work closely with the Head of Commercial within one of the leading independent brokers in the region.
This role is ideal for someone who is not only looking to advance their career, but also has a genuine interest in mentoring others and contributing to a collaborative team environment. You will manage a team of Handlers on a wide range of commercial insurance programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Head of Commercial in developing and implementing the commercial strategy for maintaining and growing the commercial side of the business
2. Maintaining focus on department sales objectives across the team supported by the sales management process
3. Innovate and develop strategies, solutions and efficiencies within the Commercial Team to improve our client journey, teams’ technical expertise and our ways of working, including those that can be adopted company wide
4. Through effective management techniques, identify each employee’s skills, abilities and personal attributes and ensure they are used to the best possible effect within the organisation
5. Manage, lead and motivate the team through constructive feedback, promote general team spirit and maintain morale
