Customer Service Maintenance Operative
Field-Based - Full-Time - £35-£38K pa + Benefits
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established residential developer for an experienced Customer Service Maintenance Operative to join their growing team. This is a field-based role covering multiple developments across Derby and the East Midlands. The position offers a varied workload and the opportunity to work within a highly professional environment.
This position is ideal for a skilled multi-trade operative who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship alongside excellent customer service.
The Role:
Deliver a professional, customer-focused maintenance service, aiming for first-time resolution
Carry out a range of remedial and snagging works to a high standard
Complete tasks across multiple trades including carpentry, patch plastering, silicone works, plumbing, and decorating
Plan and manage your own workload efficiently to meet scheduled appointments
Ensure all work is signed off by customers upon completion
Identify and escalate any issues or risks appropriately
Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment
Work from drawings, instructions, and site information as required
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar multi-trade or maintenance role - ideally in new build or high end renovation sector
Strong skills in carpentry, plaster patching, silicone application, and decorating (essential)
Good understanding of general construction and health & safety regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
IT literate and comfortable using handheld devices/systems
Full UK driving licence
