We are looking for people to work with us as support workers within our community day services team in the North Somerset area. Working with people in their homes, you will be supporting people with life skills, housing related issues including managing official paperwork, and providing advice and assistance with budgeting and welfare benefits.
You will also provide support and advice on accessing education, training, volunteering and employment opportunities, health and fitness, swimming, cooking skills, bus training/road skills, and social outings. You will be working with, and be supported by an experienced and friendly team, however the position does involve lone working so you must be self-motivated and have good time management skills.

All training is provided within your first six months of employment. After this there is the opportunity to work towards your Diploma 3 in Health and Social Care.
Due to the requirements of this role, a driving license and access to transport with class 1 business insurance is essential for this position. We pay 45p mileage allowance while using your car in work. Most shifts are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with very few evenings or weekends over the year.
