The Post The Central Legal Office (CLO) provides comprehensive legal services to Health Boards and Special NHS Entities in Scotland, covering all aspects of litigation and employment law, property transactions and commercial contracts. This post involves providing a high quality administrative and legal secretarial support to a team of Employment Solicitors. This service includes preparation of all relevant legal documentation for Tribunal hearings, using our new iCasework management system. It will also include arranging meetings and training events, maintaining diaries, file management, dealing with telephone enquiries and any other duties as required. The role involves some copy typing and audio transcription but this is a small percentage of the service provided. The Candidate To undertake the full range of duties, you will ideally have proven secretarial experience, knowledge of secretarial processes to HNC level, audio and copy typing skills and a knowledge of Employment Tribunal terminology would be desirable. We are looking for a secretary who is efficient in using Microsoft 365, especially Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint and who has a keen interest in IT, including case management systems. Location and Working Pattern: Gyle Square, Edinburgh. Monday to Friday, 18 hours per week.
