What will you do

The Kenvue Customer Category Development team is responsible for delivering category plans that foster sustainable growth for both Kenvue and our retail partners.

As a Category Manager, you will partner with our customers to provide category and shopper insights, and develop compelling, actionable plans to grow category and Kenvue sales.

You will lead the category agenda for your assigned categories, working closely with your Category Channel Lead, sales, and strategy teams to influence and accelerate the implementation of the Kenvue category vision.

You are accountable for Kenvue’s distribution and shelf presence, ensuring the achievement of our Perfect Store metrics through Range Reviews.

* Provide thought leadership for customers by sharing and tailoring our category growth strategies and recommendations.
* Lead end-to-end range review processes with your customers, making recommendations across all Perfect Store and category levers.
* Execute the optimal contact strategy to engage effectively with your retailer.
* Provide category insights within your customer’s Multi-Functional Selling Team.
* Lead customer-specific projects in your category, such as fixture projects, store trials, or future fixtures, supported by your line manager.
* Develop range and assortment recommendations that optimize distribution and visibility of NPI and SKUs in our MSLs.
* Manage Kenvue’s category performance trackers, highlighting progress, opportunities, and risks.
* Contribute to a collaborative team culture by sharing learnings and supporting colleagues across the team.


Qualifications


Job Requirements

* Understanding of Category Development within FMCG and strong commercial acumen.
* Experience in delivering range reviews as a Category Manager, Executive, or within a sales role, with exposure to customer buying and merchandising teams.
* Experience working with customer and shopper insights.
* Proficiency in Nielsen, Kantar, and customer databases (e.g., dunnhumby).


Other

* Degree-level education or equivalent.
* Proficient in spoken and written English.
* Willingness to travel up to 50% within the UK for customer visits.
* Ability to build strong, inclusive relationships.
* Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness.
* Proactive with a bias for action and personal ownership of results.
* Ability to synthesize multiple data sources into compelling selling stories.
