Financial Planning Consultant - Trainee Financial Adviser

Role Overview
As a Financial Planning Consultant, you'll develop relationships with our customers, ensuring they receive excellent service and providing them with a high-quality initial point of contact through fact-finding meetings. To succeed, you'll need experience supporting customers or advisers in a previous role and be fully Diploma qualified (or nearly qualified). You should have some experience in the financial services industry and be capable of offering personalized, expert advice for our customers' financial futures.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with branch and advice teams to conduct initial meetings with new clients, discussing pensions, investments, and inheritance tax. Prepare clients for follow-up meetings with Financial Advisers by gathering and entering relevant information into our CRM system, ensuring a smooth customer journey. Engage clients during meetings to understand their financial objectives and motivations.
Candidate Requirements
* Excellent communication skills with a passion for customer service, experienced in face-to-face or virtual interactions.
* Team-oriented, supportive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
* Strong organizational skills with adherence to compliance and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexible and adaptable to change, quick to learn new systems and processes.
* Looking to advance towards a Financial Adviser role, with a Regulated Diploma in Financial Advice (or near completion). Full support and training provided.
* Located in or near Lincoln, Newark, or Nottingham; initially remote, with eventual face-to-face meetings required at branch locations.
