Overview
Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, ensuring seamless coordination and outstanding service delivery.
* Develops strategies aligned with hotel goals, including marketing and operational improvements. Drive marketing initiatives to increase occupancy rates while managing budgets effectively for maximum profitability
* Handle budgeting, revenue forecasts, and expenses to maintain financial health and profitability.
* Oversee daily hotel operations, including check-in/check-out procedures, guest relations, and resolving any issues promptly to maximize guest satisfaction.
* Implement and monitor hotel policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with safety regulations and brand guidelines.
* Oversee human resources functions such as Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate staff members across all departments to foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork and excellence.
* Enhance guest relations by actively engaging with guests, addressing feedback promptly, and ensuring personalized service that exceeds expectations.
* Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for supplies and equipment maintenance to ensure smooth hotel operations.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards across the resort or hotel property at all times.
Experience
* Several years of experience in the role of General Manager.
* Extensive knowledge of hotel management principles including revenue management, budgeting, human resources, and guest services.
* Demonstrated excellence in customer service with the ability to handle complex situations with professionalism and tact.
* Experience in budgeting, financial planning, and revenue management.
* Strong leadership skills with a passion for motivating teams and fostering a welcoming environment for both staff and guests.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree: Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is required.
