Main duties of the job Key responsibilities will include: • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across a wide range of mechanical systems. • Diagnose and resolve faults on plumbing, HVAC and associated mechanical plant. • Undertake testing, inspection and statutory compliance activities (e.g., pressure systems, water hygiene tasks). • Support minor installation works across the retained estate. • Ensure all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with relevant regulations and Health & Safety guidance. Candidates will be required to have: • A formally recognised mechanical qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). • Completed apprenticeship in Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC or Building Services Engineering. • Experience in mechanical installation, maintenance or engineering - healthcare experience desirable but not essential. • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and pride in the quality of your workmanship. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet shared goals. • Good communication skills and a proactive, customer-focused approach.
