Learning Support Assistant – SEN School (Farnborough) Pay: £13.75 per hour Start Date: ASAP Agency: Teaching Personnel Location: Farnborough, Hampshire Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming SEN school in the Farnborough area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about helping young people with special educational needs reach their full potential. Role Overview As a Learning Support Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with a range of additional needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and communication difficulties). Support learning in and out of the classroom, following guidance from the class teacher and SENCO. Assist with behaviour management, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning. Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for all pupils. Build strong, supportive relationships with students and staff. What We’re Looking For Experience working with children or young adults (school, youth work, care, etc.) – SEN experience is beneficial but not essential. A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach. A willingness to learn, take direction, and be part of a supportive team. Ability to commit to a long-term role starting ASAP.
