Our client, a leading UK accountancy and advisory firm, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join their Business Outsourcing Services team in Salisbury. The Role
As Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality compliance services to a varied portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing annual financial statements, including statutory accounts, trust accounts, partnership accounts, and sole trader accounts
* Managing your own portfolio of clients and acting as their key point of contact
* Overseeing and mentoring junior staff working on your portfolio
* Collaborating with other departments to deliver a seamless client experience
* Ensuring work is delivered to a high standard and in line with deadlines and regulatory requirements
What We're Looking For
* ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), or qualified by experience
* Strong background in practice, ideally within a business outsourcing or accounts compliance team
* Proficiency with accounting software and a solid understanding of UK GAAP
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A proactive, client-focused approach with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement
