Role: Warehouse Operative
What will I be doing?
* General warehouse duties: Carry out essential tasks such as moving equipment, receiving deliveries, organising goods and providing support to all teams within the business.
* Equipment Inventory: Use our handheld barcode scanners to ensure all items of equipment are accounted for by scanning goods in and out of the warehouse.
* Maintain Accurate Stock Records: Ensure stock records are precise and check for any missing or damaged items.
* Logistics: Assist with the efficient loading and unloading of vans and trucks, helping our Transport team to be reliable and get to our customers on time.
* Clean work area: Cleaning the warehouse and keeping work areas tidy, efficient and presentable
* Promote a Culture of Safety: Actively participate in making our workplace safe and enjoyable for everyone.
What skills do I need?
Being a Team Player is essential for this role alongside being reliable, flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks. Self-motivation and an upbeat positive attitude are also a must
