About Our Client
Our client is a medium sized business based in Leicestershire, they have an immediate requirement to recruit a professional and proven Management Accountant into their team.
Job Description
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Preparing and submitting monthly management accounts for review by the Board of Directors.
* Conducting in-depth analysis of financial data and presenting insights to the management team.
* Collaborating with external auditors to facilitate the preparation of annual statutory accounts.
* Gathering and submitting weekly and monthly payroll data to our third-party payroll provider.
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of financial controls and procedures.
* Maintaining and reconciling the balance sheet, including the management of fixed asset registers.
* Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns, annual P11Ds, and PSA returns to HMRC.
* Assisting with the development of monthly cost centre reviews.
* Acting as a deputy for the Financial Controller as needed.
The Successful Applicant
* ACCA/CIMA/ACA Part Qualified or QBE
* A minimum of 2-3 years of recent experience in a similar role.
* Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formulas.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work efficiently to deadlines.
* Excellent organisational skills.
