Job Specification – Site Technician Location : North Yorkshire Objective: This role will work closely with the regional sales team to monitor on-site installations across various systems, ensuring exceptional workmanship and compliance with quality standards. The position plays a key role in maintaining the company's guarantee liability while fostering strong relationships with the approved contractor network and delivering hands-on training to operatives in the field. Responsibilities: Conduct regular site inspections across multiple projects within the assigned region. Looking for an experienced and knowledgeable flat roofing professional – this is essential. Deliver practical training to contractor operatives, ensuring high standards in both content and delivery. Produce clear, detailed inspection reports following site visits. Support communication between contractors and internal teams to help resolve issues on-site. Plan and track multiple projects to maximise efficiency and workflow. Manage communications for complex or high-value projects to ensure smooth delivery. Collaborate regularly with internal departments and sales personnel to address and resolve operational site matters. Key Experience, Knowledge & Skills: Strong practical experience in on-site system installation (industry-specific experience advantageous). Solid technical and commercial understanding of construction or related project environments. Proven experience in delivering hands-on training. Train the Trainer qualification (preferred). Health & Safety awareness (CSCS card preferred). Professional, approachable, and solution-oriented, with a strong character and interpersonal skills. Well-organised with solid administrative capabilities. Self-driven and proactive. Proficient with Microsoft Office and general IT systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
