Management Accountant Liverpool City Centre - Hybrid £45K + bonus
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified Management Accountant to join a well-established global organisation with a strong operational footprint and headquarters in Liverpool city centre.

The Role
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-quality management accounting and operational financial support. The role has a strong costing and analysis focus and works closely with operational and technical teams both in the UK and internationally.
Key responsibilities include:
* Producing monthly management accounts, including cost reviews, accruals, prepayments and variance analysis against budget and forecast
* Preparing clear, concise commentary to explain financial performance and drivers
* Building strong working relationships with operational and technical stakeholders
* Supporting balance sheet integrity through ownership of reconciliations for accruals, prepayments and inventory
* Liaising with internal teams to ensure accurate recording and reporting of operational costs
* Supporting budgeting and forecasting activity in collaboration with international finance teams
* Assisting with quarterly and year-end reporting requirements
* Providing guidance and support to junior finance colleagues where required
* Authorising payment runs and handling ad-hoc accounting queries
* Contributing to continuous improvement across operational finance processes
Some international travel may be required from time to time - adhoc
About You
This role would suit a proactive and detail-focused Management Accountant who enjoys working close to operations. xsngvjr
You will likely bring:
* Newly qualified (CIMA / ACCA) or close to qualification
* Experience within a finance or accounts environment, ideally with exposure to management accounting
* Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
* Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems (ERP exposure desirable)
* The ability to communicate clearly with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
* A collaborative approach and willingness to take ownership
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
