They have a solid strategy, creative and client services team and are now looking to add to this, with the hire of an experienced Interior Design Project Manager!
Description
You'll be joining the Interior Design team, as a Project Manager and will manage a busy pipeline of interior design projects for one of the agency's major clients. You’ll work in close partnership with the team of Interior Designers, acting as the day-to-day project lead across multiple live projects.
It's a fast-paced environment and requires someone with experience steering interior design projects through from concept to completion – keeping everything moving, everyone aligned, and delivery on track.
Key responsibilities:
* Leading and coordinating multiple interior design projects, ensuring timelines, budgets and deliverables are managed efficiently
* Working closely with the Senior Interior Designer, to ensure creative integrity is maintained throughout the process
* Supporting the production and coordination of project documentation, reports, meeting notes and progress updates
* Liaising with external consultants, contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth execution and delivery
* Executing all contract administration tasks – including monitoring site activity, managing instructions and variations, reporting progress and delays, and maintaining accurate project records
* Ensuring alignment with health & safety, CDM and other statutory obligations (with technical compliance led by the in-house Technical Design Lead)
Experience
To be considered for the role of Interior Design Project Manager, you must be able to demonstrate you have/are:
* Proven experience in project management within interior design, architecture, or fit-out environments.
* A strong understanding of the design process and an ability to speak the same language as designers.
* Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, ideally within hospitality, leisure or retail sectors.
* Excellent communication skills with a natural ability to build strong relationships with clients, designers and contractors.
* Highly organised, proactive and calm under pressure - with a solutions-focused mindset.
* Familiarity with standard design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) is a bonus, but not essential.
* Knowledge of UK compliance and statutory design considerations is beneficial, but technical oversight is provided by the in-house expert.
Remuneration
This is fantastic role for anyone with experience in project management and specifically overseeing interior design projects. You'll be joining a fantastic agency and working on a well-known UK brand. Salary is up to £50,000 for the right person.
There will be travel involved to the various locations of your client, across the UK. This can be expensed.
