The role is for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel, with the potential to step into a General Counsel position. It is a full-time, office-based role located in the Heathrow Airport area (5 days a week).

Responsibilities:
1. Provide accurate and timely legal counsel to executives on various topics (commercial agreements, dispute resolution, corporate finance, and commercial law).
2. Manage complex legal transactions from a project perspective, ensuring input from all relevant stakeholders.
3. Lead risk management strategies within the company.
4. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
5. Handle Company Secretarial duties.
6. Draft and review agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.
7. Manage external legal counsel and consultants to ensure value for money.
8. Clarify legal language and specifications for internal teams.
9. Stay informed on legislative changes and developments.
Skills & Experience:
1. Qualified UK solicitor with at least 10 years PQE (considering other PQE levels and qualified lawyers from common law jurisdictions eligible for QLT).
2. Strong knowledge of corporate law, especially corporate finance, dispute resolution, and contracts.
3. Methodical with attention to detail.
4. Commercially minded with a pragmatic legal approach.
5. Training from a reputable law firm and/or relevant business experience.
6. Proven legal counsel experience in a fast-paced environment.
7. High ethical standards and integrity.
8. Good judgment and analytical skills.
9. Ability to manage multiple diverse projects simultaneously.
10. Excellent communication skills.
11. Approximately 8 years of experience in a small to medium law firm prior to business roles.
