BI Analyst - Wells & Co. - Bedford, Bedfordshire Company Description Wells & Co - Bedford based craft brewery, a well-established Pub Partner estate, 28 managed pubs, English pubs in France and 140 years of history, so far! To support our growth plans for 2025 and beyond, we’re looking for a data-driven BI Analyst to help shape strategic decisions across our pub portfolio. If you're passionate about turning data into insight and insight into action, this could be the role for you. As a BI Analyst you will work closely with cross-functional teams across operations, marketing, and finance to deliver clear, actionable intelligence. You’ll be responsible for building dashboards, identifying trends, and enabling smarter business decisions that improve performance and guest satisfaction. Position Production and ongoing maintenance of daily, weekly and monthly reporting. Working with the wider Finance & IT functions to streamline, validate and report on various data streams. Continuous enhancement of reporting tools (Power Bi & SQL). Documentation of processes and improvement of these as identified. Ensure that all BI reports are running efficiently and effectively whilst highlighting risks to the IT & Finance departments. Support in training head office team members on Power Bi reporting and how to extract the information for future analysis. Adapt a continuous improvement mentality around reporting techniques and reporting presentation. Ensure the data in the data warehouse is validated and kept up to date. Providing ADHOC reporting/data to support functions. Requirements Academic degree or equivalent in a Business, IT or Data field 3 years of experience in a BI or data analyst role, ideally within the hospitality or retail industry Examples of Project management & development methodology Excellent experience in working with Business Intelligence tools, essentially Microsoft Power BI Proficiency in SQL / DAX / Power Query knowledge Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into compelling narratives Other information In return, we will provide you with a great package including: Salary £45,000 - £55,000 25 days annual leave BH Pension & Life Assurance 30% discounts off dining Retail discounts Fun culture surrounded by great people It's a fascinating field that combines data analysis with the unique dynamics of the hospitality industry, so if you tick all the boxes, we'd love to hear from you!
