This exciting new role will create, lead and implement marketing plans for all business lines - concrete, cement bulk and packed, asphalt and recycling, including digital and sustainable. Use experience to identify opportunities - both in terms of communicating our products to deliver value for Hanson, working with the relevant Commercial, operational, IT and technical teams from each business line and function. You will report to a Marketing manager
* Create, lead and implement annual marketing plans, taking a digital first approach where appropriate, and working closely with business line commercial, technical and operational teams
* Develop and drive Hanson's "sustainable" branded value added products (VAPs). Providing leadership to the business line commercial teams in this area
* Manage annual budget to ensure campaigns are delivered effectively and add value to the business
* Manage external creative and design agency to ensure plans are delivered on brand and provide value
* Manage PR agency to ensure strong trade press coverage in targeted titles
* Lead and work with commercial, technical, operational, IT, Data science and customer insight teams to identify new product and market opportunities
* Present plans and activity internally to directors, managers and commercial teams as well as externally to key customers
* Responsible for ensuring regular product line social media content
* Manage the product areas on the Hanson UK website - ensuring product pages are optimised for organic traffic and lead generation
* Responsible for organisation and execution of customer events
