Pay: £105.00 per day (PAYE)

A well-regarded secondary school in Greenwich is seeking a History Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students across the Humanities department.
As a History Graduate Teaching Assistant, youll work with pupils in KS3 and KS4, providing classroom assistance, subject-specific intervention, and academic mentoring. Youll also support learners with SEN, helping to remove barriers to learning and promote engagement in subjects like Geography, History and RE.
Key responsibilities:
Providing in-class support in History and wider Humanities
Running 1:1 and group interventions for underachieving students
Helping with lesson resources, planning, and marking
Supporting students with SEND or EAL backgrounds
This role is ideal for aspiring History teachers or those interested in education, youth work, or social research.

A 2:1 or First-Class degree in History or related field
A genuine interest in education and social development
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
