The Headteacher is looking to appoint a driven and enthusiastic NQT / ECT Maths Teacher on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. This role is ideal for early career teachers looking to gain valuable experience in a mainstream setting.
As a Maths Teacher, you will:
1. Teach Maths across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
2. Support pupils with GCSE Maths exam preparation
3. Plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons
4. Follow and implement the school’s schemes of learning
5. Develop effective classroom and behaviour management skills with support from experienced staff
The successful English Teacher will have:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a Maths specialism
7. (NQTs / ECTs are strongly encouraged to apply)
8. Experience teaching Maths during training placements or previous roles
9. Strong communication and organisational skills
10. A positive, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching
11. A genuine passion for supporting pupil progress and achievement
