RG Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with an excellent, well‑established business that is looking for an experienced Senior Finance Manager to oversee the EMEA region. This role will be based in Irlam and offers 1 day a week from home.
Reporting to the Global Finance Director, the Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing a team and managing month‑end and quarter‑end activities.
Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a team across UK and EU entities
* Manage general ledger accounting and implement controls
* Oversee month‑end close activities to ensure timely and accurate closing of ledgers
* Prepare monthly reports, review and analyse them
* Conduct detailed balance‑sheet reviews
* Ensure compliance with SOX controls and liaise with external SOX auditors
* Coordinate with shared service centre managers
* Drive continuous process and system improvements
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have strong technical finance knowledge and a proven history of leadership experience, preferably in a global organisation with familiarity of US GAAP and SOX controls.
