Job Overview: As a Tech 3, you will be providing advanced hands-on technical support to employees through a walk-up IT Tech Bar service, diagnosing and resolvingplex hardware and software issues, and assisting with a wide range of IT-related requests.Location: Redditch B98 7UBContract Dates: 1 June 2026 – 31st May 2027Pay Rate: An hourly rate, in-scope IR35, of £ PAYE) OR £ per hour (via a Hays approved umbrellapany).Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00 – 17:30 ( hours a week)Key Responsibilities
1. Provides hands-on technical support to employees through a walk-up IT Tech Bar service
2. Acts as a first point of contact for resolving IT-related issues
3. Diagnoses and resolves hardware-related problems (desktops, laptops, peripherals)
4. Troubleshoots and fixes software-related issues
5. Assists employees with general IT requests and queries
6. Ensures a smooth and efficient support experience for end-users
7. Demonstrates a strong customer service mindset
8. Takes a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
9. Utilises strong troubleshooting skills across a variety of IT problems
